Our Wee Wedding- Post Ceremony

This court house,
or registry office,
or whatever they call it,
was so gorgeous.

When we booked our wedding date to be held at the Park Circus Registry Office,
we had no idea what the building looked like,
and it wasn't until our wedding day that we actually saw the building.
We didn't care what it looked like when we set our date,
we just wanted to get married.
It was like a little extra gift that this building was so stunning inside,
and that we are one of the last weddings to be held there
since it has been bought and will no longer be available for weddings.

Our friend Hanna and Ella bought the confetti.
They didn't know each other until the day of our wedding,
and had gone out,
separately,
and bought the same confetti.
I am SO glad they did, because those are some of my all time favorite photos.

 Up next: Cocktail hour

  6. THESE PICTURES. Gorgeous. You're both so happy.

And is the heart shaped confetti a British thing? Craig's sister married a Brit, and his family brought over that confetti too.

Of course this might just be pure coincidence and now I'm being an asshole. But, you know, never hurts to ask.

  33. Yep, I was thinking the same thing with the confetti photos. They are some of the best, and I'd be printing them out in a hot second to display on my wall if I were you. ;)

I love the simplicity of your wedding so much. Obviously it wasn't simple getting to that point, but how it all turned out and the joy on your faces is priceless.

  42. Love the new design! Though I loved the interim one a lot, too.

When so many coincidences come together (like when the building happens to be gorgeous, the confetti happens to be the same, etc etc) I think you're allowed to call it fate ;)

  50. man you look lovely and the pictures are stunning. I really think weddings are overrated. If they can happen without me taking out a loan then okay haha But your pictures are some of the best ones I've seen and its really inspiring cuz its the heart behind it all that makes the day so amazing afterall? right...? or am i just a broke girl spilling her heart..? haha

    CONGRATZ AGAIN lovely!
