Wrapping up

photo from Valentine's day, shirt was a gift from Stephen from Zara :)

This past week has been really nice...

We celebrated Stephen's birthday,
went bowling,
laughed at my inability to bowl (everything changes when the bumpers go down...)
ate yummy food,
drank delicious drinks,
picked up our wedding bands (!!)
spent time watching our guiltiest TV pleasure of all time: Love in the Wild
*hangs head in shame*
and talked about Stephen's 26 goals for his 26th year of life.
One of his first ones was to get me a puppy...
smart man.

Oh and then there was The Bachelor hometown dates...
All I am going to say is I felt for Sean during Desiree's hometown...
felt for him.

that is all.

I will be spending the weekend photographing half of my wardrobe
to sell in preparation for our move back to the US
so I am going to  leave you with one awesome blogger
(her comments make me seriously laugh)
and one of my favorite stores.
You can read and shop at the same time this weekend.
You're welcome.

Jasmine has become one of my favorites,
she has a knack for telling stories that suck you in,
make you laugh,
make you cry,
and make you think.
She also happens to live in one of my favorite accented places,
Australia.

Hi! My name is Jasmine and I blog over at Curlicue. I live in Sydney, Australia and spend all my time hanging out with my fiance and his dog. I write about the perks of life, sharing things that inspire me, the photographs I take and the hilarious mischief I always seem to get up to! Come over and visit me to have your mind blown and world changed. Oh, and like Kristen Bell, if I'm not between a 3 and a 7 on the emotional scale, I'm crying. I think maybe I should film this so that you can enjoy it too?

Jigsaw London is one of my favorite stores.
It was originally a UK based store,
that made its way to the USA.
So I guess that kind of makes it an expat store,
and I resonate with expats.
They have high end, high quality
staple wardrobe pieces.
The type of items that last forever,
and you can wear over and over with different items.
Some of my favorite: here, here and here (I own the last one! and it's on sale now)

  2. Well done, Stephen! You are so beautiful!

I'm resisting The Bachelor lure. But the hometown ones always always always get me. Like, it's a total game changer and sucks me in bad.

  7. I love that he wants to get you a puppy! My little ball of fluff has been nothing but a great source of therapy, love, joy and warm snuggles for us ever since we got him 3 years ago. Yes, Ive become a "crazy dog person" and deem myself a "fur mom" but hes just so cute that I couldnt help myself :)

    2. No problem! it's the least I can do as an avid follower of your blog! Your post are always funny, thoughtful, and just great. It's nice to know bloggers are just as kooky and normal as the rest of us.

  14. Bowling without bumpers is a serious problem!
Not sure if you followed season 1, but one of my college roomies and bffs was on Love and the Wild then! Heather Pond. It was so much fun to watch the show with her and now she is living with the guy Miles that she coupled up with on the show! Success story :)

  15. Hey Megan!
I really like your blog and I was wondering if you could write an article about the differences (that you found) between England, Northern Ireland and Scotland. With my husband, we are considering moving to the UK since I have EU citizenship. Was it hard to find a job? How do you find the locals? Thanks in advance!

    1. Hi! Thank you! I will definitely write a post about work/living abroad etc. Although a lot of that info you can find in my FAQs section up top. In regards to writing about the differences, I would actually prefer to tell you in a private e mail, as I do not want to offend anyone with my opinions on the different countries and cultures :) So send me an e mail and i would be happy to answer some of your questions!
