N.Ireland Bound...again...

via I just really liked this.

We are heading back to Northern Ireland for the next few days.
We will be spending some time with Stephen's family,
and hammering out as many wedding details as we can.
We are hoping this will be our last necessary trip to N.Ireland in regards to wedding stuff until June.

On our agenda:
Our food tasting *insert lots of exclamation points here*
My hair trial *nervous laugh*
Makeup trial *nervous laugh*
Filling out marriage license paperwork (which I believe they call a marriage schedule?)
and
Meeting with the Minister (a requirement to getting married in the church).

I am also hoping we can get the details for our rehearsal day/dinner worked out.
Since we have no idea what we are doing for that yet.

I am really excited to get out of Glasgow,
see some snow,
since we are the only part of the ENTIRE UK that has yet to get snow,
(it seems unfair for it to be so dang cold and not at least get the beauty of snow to look at)
and have some dates with Stephen.
We haven't done much of anything except attempt to get back on UK time since we landed in Scotland.

You can follow us on instagram if you want to see snowy N.Ireland,
and wedding stuff...

Have a Happy Weekend!

  1. I feel like the hair and makeup should be pretty easy for them since you're a FREAKING MODEL.

  3. Cold with no snow-not fun! We had that here in NY for awhile this week (8 degrees F, and no snow? Gross).

  6. Om nom nom food tasting!! So much fun. Will you get to have any yummy American treats, or will it be mostly UK fare? Either way, at least you'll get a chance to eat it since you're having a sit down dinner. At our engagement party, everyone was talking to me so much I never got a chance to eat, and since our reception is a buffet/party, I'm afraid it will all be the same thing! Enjoy the food and snow this weekend!!

    1. We are trying to do a little mix of american and UK food...but with american taste..because typical british food can be pretty bland. I have my fingers crossed that our venue gets it right!

  10. Hey you changed your logo and a general scheme. I love it! Though I thought the old one was cute, too.

Good luck with getting all those wedding details figured out!
You're lucky it's just a one time meeting. My friend had to go to a weekly marriage class. crazy!

  15. I'm surprised Glasgow doesn't have any snow. We've had it hanging around for over a week and I live just above London.
The news has been making it sound like the entire country is covered in it.

I hope all your planning and meetings work out
    xx

  19. Try not to be nervous about the trials. They exist so that you can change things if you don't like them, so that's the worst that could happen! Hope Northern Ireland brings its snow-game and you get to see a lot of the pretty white stuff!
