Hawaii Highlights V2

it's kinda hard to tell we are related....




*I have never been boogie boarding before.
(I know...and I call myself a southern californian..i should be ashamed)
The waves sort of scare me.
However, the waves in Maui were super mild,
and I was still high on jetlag and sunshine,
so I was all,
heck ya lets kayak and boogie board...
I AM SO FUN.

So I went out..
Shane showed me what to do
(because it's obviously pretty complicated...)
I got on the board,
the wave approached,
and i went with it...
then immediately was upside down under water and DIEING.

*I have an awesome tan line across my cheek from falling asleep in the sun

*There is no taming my hair (if you couldn't tell..)

*Stephen does not leave the water. He is in heaven. And then i got nervous because I lost track of him while out snorkeling and made Shane go and find him. I worry for my future self as a mother.

  1. Dang, Shane is BURNT! HAHA I won't boogie board.. nuh uh, no! Waves and I don't get along. The one and only time I went surfing, my bikini came off... =/

  2. Oh goodness, I would have gotten so nervous too..but the water makes me nervous in general sometimes. Go you for boogie boarding though! It looks like y'all are having such a great time, and I hope you're really enjoying the vacation!

  6. girl... i never ONCE brushed my hair when we went... and snorkeling at black rock is THE BEST!!

    now you need to try paddleboarding. just do it. i'm pretty sure you can go tandem with stephen.. sexually speaking, of course (; PSYCH! but seriously, try it. if you can stand, you can paddleboard(:

  7. i suck at boogie boarding (and surfing), which is really embarrassing as a san diegan. you guys obviously need to move to the US, somewhere nice and sunny with a beach.

    ps my wild beach hair beats yours. two words, blonde afro.

  22. Your man's pale skin does not seem to love the sun haha. I love the pic of you and your bro running around. I went to Hawaii in high school and I'm dying to go back! Looks so nice and warm there! Make sure you go snorkeling with the sea turtles, you can't miss out on that!

  25. Haha I worry for myself as a future mother too. I'm extremely paranoid and totally act like a mom to my bf. Love the pictures. I should know how to boogie board as a so-cal girl myself but I die underwater too. I get slammed into the ocean floor everytime. Fail.
