Monogamy Mondays-Wedding Website LIVE

see website here

So remember this post where I told you about our wedding website?
Well I don't know if some of you tried to find it, creepers,
(jk i totally would of done it)
but you would have noticed it wasn't up yet.

Well now it is officially LIVE.

A couple of the internal pages are password protected
(How awesome is Bobbi for figuring that out??)
mainly because they have personal home addresses, dates and times,
and lord knows who reads this blog...
I am sure there is someone out there just WAITING to crash someones wedding in Northern Ireland...

But seriously,
after reading a few articles about women being stalked through their blogger/twitters/etc
and then assaulted,
it has made me become even more cautious about what sort of information I put out there..
especially when it comes to telling people when and where I will be at certain dates and times.
I think that "check in" app is like a predators dream come true.

And...I also want our venue to be a surprise..
up until I live stream it..
on the day of..
from my blog.

just kidding.
kind of.

Both equally as important reasons.
obviously.

Anyway...............

Bobbi spent countless hours/months figuring this site out,
and I am so pleased with the final result.
A website is such a great tool for those planning a destination wedding,
and why not make it extra special for your guests?

Go HERE to see the site!

  2. The website looks great, Bobbi did an amazing job! That's such a good idea to password protect pages with information that everyone on the internet doesn't need to see. I'm not sure why more people don't do that.

One of my close friends is obsessed with "checking in" everywhere, she doesn't see it as a gold mine for stalkers. I think it's the creepiest thing. Who really wants to know where you are at all times?

  5. Awesome! I can't wait to check it out! The sneak peek on your blog looks awesome :)

Brian and I were FINALLY approved for having our wedding where we want. We were so happy, but now a few people want us to change it AGAIN! I don't think we are. We finally found a location we love and can afford.

but, im already assuming you KNEW i'd be stalking it.. just like i plan to show up at your wedding..

but, uh these stalker and assaulted nonsensical jerks?! i want to read the article, but i don't.. but i want to..

and i try to not check in all the time, because i agree- it's creepy..

    as for the site.. it's great.. could be more....sexual.. but i'll forgive you for that. (;

  19. I love the wedding website, although the password significantly limits my creeping abilities haha. I really think it's a good idea to have the password (maybe because I was raised by a cop and watch all those creepy dateline shows). Amazing website and can't wait for the real deal!

  33. That was pure awesomeness. And yes, I totally tried to stalk and find the website beforehand. I'm hiding my head in shame! Ha! In all seriousness, I was just trying to see what an ex-pat would register for.
I think this is an AWESOME idea! The website was so glam and perfect in every way!

    ReplyDelete
  34. @Sarah- hahaha. no shame! I am sure actually a lot of expats and other people were wondering the same thing as you. You can actually see the registry if you wanted to have a look. I left it open because i love the site its hosted by and think it is SUCH a good idea for expats or even for those who sort of already have all the "stuff" ya know?

  35. First of all congrats to the Megan and Stephen for their wonderful personal wedding site and the couples are engaged. Next step is the wedding planning. They may use the wedding app for better planning of the wedding and also useful for the creating the personal wedding website.
