Beautiful photos! Such a lovely post! :) x
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how anything from home can make you feel at ease. Hearing an American accent, watching American television...kept me comforted.
ReplyDeleteLove those sunnies too. Semi-cat-eye are the coolest (truly a shame my TopShop ones broke).
A great collection of your instagram photos :)
ReplyDeletehahahaha your hair is awesome.

ReplyDeleteHEDWIG! And youz a cutie patootie. Fo sho.
ReplyDeleteYou two are adorable and I love the wild, messy hair!! x
ReplyDeleteyour hair looks better than mine after a top knot and a coupe of days of not brushing--i like to think the bedhead look is still in though, well that is what i tell myself.
ReplyDeleteooh which pumpkin recipe worked well? i have an open can i need to use and i've already made muffins and doughnuts!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHA! The mini flags made you feel safe! Hilarium!
ReplyDeleteAnd how did the feta and shrimp turn out? Better than the brownies I hope.
PS... That hair. You could write a book about that hair. It's awesome with it's own booty.
I love you two!
ReplyDeleteThats my fave way to wear my hair too.
Omg you holding the owl is tooo cool! Reminds me Hedwig from Harry Potter...me = officially jealous.
ReplyDeleteOoh which coffee shop in Glasgow is that?
ReplyDeleteAlso how much did the Libby's set you back?
I know from experience that stores in Britain like to put a huge mark-up on those tins.
@Lyndsay- pumpkin cake with a crumble on top (twice and failed twice) and then pumpkin pie bars.
ReplyDelete@gladley- ugh. so expensive. redic. i bought two cans and it probably cost the equivalent of $15-$20?
Ok, you HAVE to share how you get that perfect top knot!!! Every time I try I look stupid :)
ReplyDeleteSomehow I love each set of pictures! The people, the coffee, the hair, the life.
ReplyDeleteHow is it that this bun craze makes taking care of our hair so much harder? I've been painting my house all week, employing the top knot, and confession: NOT brushing my hair.
I love these shots! I lived right next to where you took the picture of the Duomo when I studied in Florence..such a great area!

ReplyDeleteThat canned pumpkin is defiantly a gem, it costs $15 here! Crazy I know, but what is even crazier is that I pay it! Ha -Heidi http://fabricandfrosting.blogspot.no/
ReplyDeleteso ok combine the can of pumpkin with a box of spice cake mix (betty crocker, duncan hines-whatev) Just those 2 ingredients! Dump spoonfuls in a muffin tin and cook for the time on the box then drown them with cream cheese frosting. from a can of course. so good. and it tastes like you slaved away. and you only have 2 dishes to clean! yesssss!
ReplyDeleteambercheez: i love you. THANK YOU.
ReplyDeleteI like how casual you make your European life sound, meanwhile everyone else is like "just a coffee shop in Scotland? That's awesome, NOT casual!"
