I am already mentioning Monday and it is Friday...I'm sorry.

Happy Friday!
I feel like this week went by really fast.
Which i am not upset about.
Yesterday, Stephen had a friend that I had never met from  his old University come into town and we went out for drinks.
This means that yesterday was the first day I put on makeup all week,
which is mainly why I am telling you this little story.
Make-up putting on has to be documented.
I, however, did not do my hair.
Baby steps.
My favorite part of the night:
Friend: "I read your blog. Every day. I just thought you should know before this conversation continued."

I have a special post coming up on Monday,
so until then,
read these blogs.
Yes, that was a demand.,
or no special post for you.

I joke.

Ashley is.hilarious.
Like, I LOVE this girl.
She is pretty and funny and leaves the best comments.
She is a born and raised southern California girl,
so clearly I am biased when I say she is freaking awesome
and we are going to be bffs in real life one day.
Even though she doesn't eat meat...
Its okay,
I am a forgiving person.

a big hello! to all of megan's readers- my name is ashley and i write house of glass, a lifestyle blog about living in sunny southern california.  i live on a small ranch in the desert with my husband, our 3 dogs, and outside kitty (who sleeps inside). i'm a grad student studying holistic nutrition- eat your plants!- and hubby & i love cooking meat-free meals packed full of fruits and veggies...  aaaand i've just scared everyone away, huh? forget what you just read, my blog is about.... bacon.  (;

Katie and her husband Ben are the ultimate expat travelers.
They have lived in so many different places,
and are way cooler/more cultured than I am.
They now live in the states,
and Katie does the cutest outfit posts.
You will love them.
'nuff said.

We're Ben and Katie. We met in Montana, lived in Ukraine, South Korea, Russia and just moved to the US. Katie loves mushrooms, mountains and bunnies. Ben likes design, Proust and playing guitar. Chestnut Mocha is our blog about adventures, food, style, lomography cameras and things that we do as a couple.

Okay so Casey and her husband are also much cooler expat travelers than I am...
Casey, an american, started her expat adventures AS A KID,
in Saudi Arabia..
I know.
Insane.
Now her and her husband live in Portland,
but she works for a firm in hawaii..
It is sort of unfair, really.
You will absolutely love reading through her archives of all of their travels and admiring their beautiful photos.

Hi, Across the Pond Readers!  I am Casey from True Colours (yes, spelled the European way as I love all things Europe!)  I grew up as an expat kid in Saudi Arabia and fell in love with the traveling lifestyle, the inspiration of other cultures and the draw of a plane headed somewhere far away.  Now, I live in Portland, Oregon with my husband, work for an architecture firm as a designer in Honolulu and own my own small design firm on the side.  At any chance we get, we are off on adventures, whether in the States or abroad, we love to roam the world and discover all that it has to offer.  My blog is a journal of our adventures, of my thoughts and our crazy journey in this lovely life.  I started this blog on the plane home from Paris on our honeymoon and haven't stopped since.  Come on over and visit me on True Colours, to see my husband's gorgeous photos of our adventures, my thoughts on all the places we've seen and a little bit of everything in between!
