Fall into Autumn

1. Asos Faux fur Snood \ 2. Zara Sweater  \ 3. Kate Spade Flats \ 4. Asos Leather Jacket \ 5. TopShop sweater \ 6. Wallis Grey Ponte Blazer

What I have learned living in the UK during autumn/winter,
is the importance of having a lot of solid basics that can be mix and matched.
Autumn and winter clothes always tend to be a little more expensive (more fabric),
so I like to have some things that can be worn multiple times, in multiple different ways.

I have noticed that familiar chill filling the air again,
so I'm not going to say how that chill is filling me with fear for the months to come,
and what is keeping me going is thinking about cute autumn clothes...
oh and going to Italy, where it is in the 80s, next week!

More on Italy to come...
Hint: it involves a hen-do (bachelorette party) and three other expat bloggers.
I just got the chills.

  2. Italy sounds amazing right about now. I'm feeling the chill too, but just think about the pretty clothes and the yummy Fall food. That's what keeps me from screaming. -Heidi http://fabricandfrosting.blogspot.no

  11. Your style is always impeccable. Hope to hear more about your future in bachelorette party in Italy! I'm sure you will look gorgeous as usual. I also love that you listed faux fur instead of real fur. Since real fur involves so much unnecessary cruelty to animals. Case in Point Tim Gunn Interview

  24. you didn't know that part of the reason I was sobbing my eyes out the other day was because it's already starting to get dark later in the morning and earlier in the evening and it reminded me of those torturously short & dark winter days that are coming :( I truly don't know if I can handle it... I'm already feeling cold and lonely (Corey is back in school so me and Henry have to hold down the fort). Ugh.

Italy is my only shining hope right now... After that... Who knows what will become of me!!
