I am sick,
and on lady time.
Worst combination in life ever.
And for whatever reason I am having the worst time with tampons.
It's like im 13 all over again standing in my pink bedroom with a mirror between my legs, crying for my mom to help me.
shudder.
I would kill for some Nyquil
(spoken like a true american)
and am obviously not fit to blog right now
(read above statement about tampons)
So I will see you in a couple of days.
Pray for Stephen.

I hope you get better soon! But you're right, they are the worse combinations that you can get!
ReplyDeleteI've got you some cyber chocolate to make you feel better and a cyber hug :)
Lauren,
Fashionswirls.blogspot.com
I'd offer to send you some Nyquil...but I think you'll be better and have forgotten all about your illness by the time you get it. Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteAww, that is the worst combination- feel better soon!!
ReplyDeletexo Kayla
feel better! You and I are on the same boat unfortunately (well, minus the lady time, thankfully for me) :( I don't know what I would do without Nyquil :(
ReplyDeleteAND DUDE. I always have trouble with tampons. ALWAYS. I am a child.
hahaha tmi? never. in fact. i'm also on my lady time. i think that solidifies our friendship.
ReplyDeleteanyways, nyquil is the very best. however! i saw a commercial the other day for zzz-quil its made by nyquil but its just used to knock you out so you can sleep! yayyy so now i can stop taking nyquil illegally to sleep when i'm not sick. ok byeeeee
oh no worst combination ever--hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteand i am fighting a cold and trying to con myself into thinking that nothing is wrong and that it will disappear--i think i am fighting a losing battle.
Can I tell you that just this weekend I had a flash back to the first time I tried to use tampons and I remember how bad it hurt/ridiculous I was.
ReplyDeleteAnd you're sick!? That is bs. If it is any consolation at all, I had too much of a Sunday Funday and my TMJ flared up so I spent all night doing the vomit. It was the best. And by best I mean worst effing thing ever.
I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteat least your lady time and being sick didnt steal your lady like manners. hahaha feel better girl!
ReplyDeleteOMG the tampon comment seriously made me laugh out loud. I think you are completely fit for blogging :)
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon! Lady time and sick! No bueno!
Feel better dear. One thing I love about you is that you always see the humor, in like every situation :)
ReplyDeleteAw, hope you feel better soon Meg!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeletethis is why i love you.
ReplyDeletexo the egg out west.
Acetaminophen (325 mg/15 mL) (pain reliever/fever reducer)
ReplyDeleteDextromethorphan (15 mg/15 mL) (cough suppressant)
Doxylamine succinate (6.25 mg/15 mL) (antihistamine/hypnotic)
Those are the active ingredients of Nyquil. I used to think it was a magic potion only found in american but it's not. It's just the combo of the three together. If I can find those three in the ghetto third world... I bet you can find them up there in civilization.
The fact that you just talked about tampons is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say why I love you, but some lady said it before me :(
Anyway, *virtualhug*
That's some pretty solid tampon imagery.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!
The heck. I've tried to leave this comment 42 nd. Half times.
ReplyDeleteI always get crazy sick during lady time. Like, the shakes, dizziness, headaches and that thing you are super scared of.
I use liquor.
Oh I always have horrendous lady time. Hope you feel better soon!!
ReplyDeleteYour no-holds-barred bodily function sharing cracks me up, even when I'm trying to feel bad for you!
ReplyDeleteHope things turn around, and soon!
i wont even rub it in your face that somehow the lady time gods have smiled upon me and havent cursed me for over a year! (no babies.. no cancers.. no wrongs, just oddly lucky, i guess)...
ReplyDeleteand now i've just imagined poor stephen's face as he walks in on you having issues...
that guy man, he's a keeper (;
but in all seriousness, i am very sorry you are sick- that shit aint fun for nobody. drink lots of water and lay your ass on the couch/bed for a few days (and dont move- milk it princess, it's the only thing that TRULY works for sickness- rest)...
the tampon thing, i cannot give such sound advice for, though. best of luck to your vagina, my friend.
feel better! even sick you're still hysterical.
ReplyDeletewhat a terrible combination. :( now's the time to curl up in a blanket on the couch and watch Olympics or read, and let it pass...
ReplyDeleteMaybe if you borrow my teacher voice (super bi*%hy ya know) and tell those tampons to do their job, they'll listen!
ReplyDeleteeither way, Hugs + Drugs
I love your boldness! I would love to post something like that on my blog, but sometimes I worry that I'd be going too far. But then I read it on yours and I'm all like YESSS!!! I LOVE HER!
ReplyDeletexo,
Amanda @ Pretty Little Things
1. Good luck!
ReplyDelete2. Diva cup. Just try it, they're way better than tampons!
That sounds awful! "Pray for Stephen"-at least you haven't lost your sense of humour in such a time of dire illness? Hope you feel better soon, and uh have some more luck with the tampons.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteoh no, feel better soon!!
ReplyDeletehttp://christawaldrop.blogspot.com/
Hope you're feeling better!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for reminding me of being 13 and in that same situation. Shudder, indeed.
ReplyDeleteGet better soon!!
Thats the worst! Feel better soon doll!
ReplyDeleteI never have trouble using tampons, but Mr Grey's silver balls just fall right out too, remember? So, what does that tell you. Yeah. That's rhetorical question.
ReplyDeletePlease feel better soon!
And I'm not signed into the right account, but I'm pretty sure you'll know which Jenni this is. ;P
ReplyDeleteOh man, do I feel your pain or what. Misery, utter misery. Hang in there! xoxo
ReplyDeleteHaha TMI Megan. jk!
ReplyDeleteFeel better.
Oh love! I am so sorry! Hope you are well. Praying for you, Stephen, and his grandmother. Love to you. You know if I had your address I would have a case load of nyquil at your door right now. So sorry.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon. :(

Over Share: I broke up with tampons and got on the DivaCup train about a year ago and haven't looked back. I'd recommend it to everyone :) Hope you get to feeling better soon!! http://divacup.com/
ReplyDelete1. I hope you feel better soon. :)
ReplyDelete2. Even while your not feeling good... you literally made me laugh our loud with your writing.
Get well soon.
-Jenn
Tampons suck. So awkward. Ughh I'm fighting off a cold too..feel better.
ReplyDeletei'll be praying that the forces of kotex and european-versions of nyquil be with you. i recommend european-version-of-benaddryl for Stephen...that way this whole experience is just a big blur.
ReplyDeletefeel better!
Feel better. Right now! Sending you love.

Roots, Wings & Other Things.
so last week as I read this I thought "gah, that really sucks! I hope she feels better!" and then went off to work.
ReplyDeletewell, the next day, I started feeling sick (flu-i-used-to-get-without-fail-every-year-during-midterms sick). and then I went on vacation, and then two days ago I got my lady times (or as I like to call it, shark week). It reaaaallllllyyy sucks. And I *have* nyquil (and dayquil!).
the only thing making it better is vacation-amounts of ice cream. and the pity party I hold daily inside my head ;)
get well soon!
