Recognize those words?
yes?
It's because I wrote them!
My sweet sweet blog friend Candis took the words from my blog and made them into this beautiful typography print as an engagement gift to me.
I got super teary-eyed when I saw this in my inbox..
It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture...
This is a piece of my story..
my journey..
and it is so special and sacred to me.
I love that she has turned it into something so lovely for me to have displayed in my home...
a constant reminder to not only take hold of second chances,
but believing you deserve nothing less in life than spectacular.
but be warned,
she has some amazing necklaces in that shop that you are probably going to want to buy..
The blog world is just so good.

ReplyDeleteI love this! As soon as I saw it, I knew exactly what post it was from. That's probably because I was a creep and saved it to my "Quotes" bookmark folder immediately after reading it for the first time. What a beautiful reminder to have so that you always remember the journey it took to find the happiness you have.
ReplyDeleteThank you for being so honest as to share such personal things in a very public space. You may not think it means much, but to your readers (and I can only speak for myself, but I'm sure I'm not alone) it means being able to relate and knowing you're not crazy or alone.
ReplyDeleteHaving read the archives of this blog and hearing you talk so frequently of your wonderful relationships with your mom and brother I always wondered where your dad fit in. I won't ask you to share that, because I'm sure you have reasons for not making it public yet, but I think that will also be something powerful that a lot of your readers will understand (if and when you do chose to let us in on that).
@Julia- thank you so so much!! You may have said just what i needed to hear to write that post :) You are the best. xxx
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!!!!!
