| Shirt: Ralph Lauren Via Macys (similar here) Shorts: New Look (similar and want these ) Bag: A little shop in scotland (love this one here SO much) | Watch: ASOS (old but lovin this one ) Jewelry c/o Poshlocket , bracelets:here + here+here earrings: here |
Wearing these shorts in Scotland,
is a WHOLE different experience compared to wearing them in southern California...
In LA, my leg hair doesn't grow in as soon as i put them on
I don't have goosebumps 24/7
and the color usually highlights my tan, instead of reflecting off the pale glow.
Ironically, I bought them in Scotland.
I think at some point people just say eff it (except here they definitely say the actual F word),
and wear summer clothes in summer, even though it is actually 55 degrees out and raining.
I would know,
I am one of those people now.

LOVE that outfit. You look so cute in it...who cares if your legs start turning blue from the cold--at least you'll look hot while freezing to death :) Happy Tuesday to you from Mississippi!
ReplyDeletethe shorts look fantastic! and rachel is right, who cares if your leg turn blue :) loving it, haha
ReplyDeleteI need to be brave and just wear my summer clothes in Amsterdam but I HATE BEING COLD. So I'm just running around in June in a winter coat.
ReplyDeleteso bright and fun!! love it! xoxo jillian:: cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteYou look totally gorgeous...love the mix of color and print. Very chic!
ReplyDeleteYou were made for high rise shorts. Looking fantabulous. Love~
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit. =) I don't think I'd be one of "those people" but you pull it off well.
ReplyDeleteWell you are all legs girlie! I would be showing them off all the time! Cute outfit !

(at least i know it's a helluva lot warmer in my neck of the woods.. i'm talking 90 degrees baby- 98 degrees?- AND i'm rocking a killer tan... so now its your turn to tell me how much jealousy is running through those icey, goosebumpily veins..)
(;
i doooooo.. cherish yoooouuuuu...
-sorry, couldnt resist
I love those earrings. Thanks for adding the link so I can do some shopping of my own. :)
ReplyDeleteso does it ever get warm over there? lol
ReplyDeleteBut you do look pretty! :-)
i am so cold all the time, that i may as well just not shave my legs. goosebumps 'round the clock.
ReplyDeleteI love that you're one of those people now. I think the same thing can be said of SF - at some point, people just say eff it and wear what they want even if it's not weather appropriate.
ReplyDeletePS - I hate shaving my legs for that very reason you mentioned. I have goosebumps right out of the shower and I seriously believe there's already stubble before I even put lotion on!
You are more tan than I am. Which, that's not really saying much. Haha. Love the pink lips!
ReplyDeleteWell you look great regardless of the temp! Love the pink and yellow combo.
ReplyDeleteYou look fabulous, even with hypothermia. ;) Great clutch, too!
ReplyDeleteWow...can I have your long legs??!
ReplyDeleteLoving the color combo. So fun! This reminds me of when it'd be like 55 degrees in seattle and the sun would be barely peeking through the clouds. Girls would put their bikinis on and tan in the middle of campus. Offensive, I tell you. THAT is not good weather- they'll never understand CA weather haha :)
ReplyDeleteThis might be one of my favorite outfits of all time. If I had long long legs, I'd wear it every day. It was 103 in Houston yesterday, ps. While anything below 65 is miserable to me, 103 is maybe a little toooo much.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute outfit! And those legs - I die! Love the pink lipstick as well.
ReplyDeleteHi I’m Heather! Please email me when you get a chance! I have a question about your blog. HeatherVonsj(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how you feel! I am originally from San Diego, California and now live in Norway and summer is just not the same. I love your outfit!

ReplyDeleteand lookin hot while doing it!
ReplyDeleteGood lord, you brave thing! I haven't worn shorts since moving here in 2002...!
ReplyDeleteI am right there with you--wearing my summer dresses even if the sun isn't particularly out because they are too pretty to spend their lives wasted in a wardrobe.
ReplyDeletebeautiful pics. lovely colors

this outfit is adorable!!!!
ReplyDeleteva va VOOM!!
ReplyDeleteI really love the colour/pattern combo going on with your outfit. Life's too short to do anything but say "eff it" to the circumstances you don't like and embrace what you wish were true, even if it means freezing in the meantime!
