I am madly in love..
with Stephen (duh)
and this maxi skirt.
(or any maxi skirt really..)
It doesn't require me to shave my legs..
I can wearing leggings under it when its cold and no one will notice..
and I will STILL look feminine..
unshaved legs and all.
winning.
(do people still say that?)
(do people still say that?)
*ps. this outfit was also worn as part of a collaboration I did with Poshlocket. Check back tomorrow for more details!

Hi can I borrow like 3 inches of height? bc then I could wear maxi skirts/dresses.

Beautiful! I need some more maxi skirts in my life. This one is perfect on you!
ReplyDeleteI need to get more involved in the maxi skirt movement. I'm all about clothing that doesn't require me to shave my legs. Also, LOVE your lipstick.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your skirt...you look fab as usual! I am OBSESSED with maxi dresses right now and I wear them every chance I get cause they are SO comfortable and flattering...you have to find the right cut for your body though cause if you don't it could look like you are wearing a tent...not cool at all! I need to get me some maxi skirts asap!
ReplyDeleteobsessed
ReplyDeletemaxi anything is theee best. i'm in love too. since i think no one's seen my legs in quite a few months ... #maxi4life . ps: those shoes! so sexy. so are its owner!
ReplyDeleteGosh darn it Meg. My scheduled post for tomorrow is on my new found love for Maxis. And they both happen to be navy. And you look way more awesome. Just darn you.
ReplyDeleteI love the skirt. You look fab as always Meg! :)
ReplyDeleteI should incorporate more maxi skirts and dresses into my wardrobe (I only own one). I've been inspired! :)
They are theee best. Even on shorties like us. You look beautiful per usual and i would love to borrow those heels from you!
ReplyDeleteI love the classic black and white look in this outfit. The blouse and skirt both have such a simple but beautiful shape. The pop of color in the necklace and shoes is perfect too!

Um perfect outfit. love it all !
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, people..aka my husband says winning ALL of the time. Funny because we ran into a guy with a shirt that said winning this weekend, and the hubs made me take his picture with him. I mean, if if him saying it wasn't enough, now I've got this ridiculous photo on my camera now.
For me it's maxi dresses. I could wear them every single day! They are flattering, comfortable, and yet still girly...I can't get enough!
ReplyDeleteYou rock that skirt girl. I do think the requirements for wearing those skirts involve being a little taller than just above midget size. So I hide my hairy legs with the long maxi dresses. Winning.
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to get a maxi skirt for far too long, especially a particular one from topshop which I am sure does not exist in real life but is just on the website to mock me.
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous, my dear. You have the perfect figure for maxi skirts. :)
ReplyDeleteyou are so mini!
ReplyDeletejust ordered 3 maxis.
is that considered addiction?
So, I had a revelation about maxi skirts:
ReplyDeletemassive wind = no I see London I see France tauntings.
i feel compelled to tell you that I am currently wearing those exact shoes on my very feet.
ReplyDeletealso, the idea of leggings under maxi skirts in the cold is brilliant, but also sad that you even have to still consider ways to stay warm this time of year.
CupcakesOMG!
You are looking totally fabulous in that maxi skirt. Not having to shave is truly a wonderful thing.
ReplyDeleteG.
I'm always up for a way to feel girly without having to shave my legs!!! Love this skirt.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how you feel! I could wear maxis everyday! Love your blog and your style!
