Time

I really love the look of watches on women,
boyfriend watches,
or more feminine watches..

I have a boyfriend style watch that I got for like 10 pounds on sale at asos.
But that was over a year ago and I'm ready for a new one..
as much as i wish i could drop a couple hundy (yea, i said hundy)
and be part of the cool kids michael kors watch club,
that's just not a realistic option for me right now
(my birthday is in december though..just sayin..)

So I thought id browse the sale section at asos again to see what they had to offer.
My top cheap choices:

Confession: I never set the correct time on my watches because i don't wear them to tell the time..it's purely aesthetic..and also it may or may not take me an absurdly long time (no pun intended) to figure out what time it is on a watch that doesn't have the numbers...

*hangs head in shame*

And this post is what happens when you cant sleep at 4am because of jetlag..
which is also known as the danger shopping zone.

  1. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has trouble telling time on these kinds of watches. I feel so bad for my parents... I remember them trying so hard to teach me when I was a kid and I'm a FAILURE. At least my wrists look cute.

  2. I'm the same way. I bought a fancy Pottery Barn alarm clock and can never be quite sure exactly what time it is. On another note, I "borrowed" a big, clunky watch from my mon. I think it's Kenneth Cole, the poor man's Michael Kors.

  3. I love these options. I desperately wish I could be part of the MK Cool Club but I ain't got the dough, yo. I'm thinking about asking for it as an anniversary gift though. It'll be our 4th anni. I think I deserve it.

  4. I had to buy a watch for work, and I found a cheap Lucky one I actually like, so it's not too bad. (I'm not a big watch wearer) BUT. I actually *do* need to tell time with it, and I don't normally have trouble with analog clocks, but this one has a chain-link band and the face sits crooked- plus there aren't even the little lines to indicate numbers- so I am CONSTANTLY telling people the wrong time. Hour only- I can get the minutes right, somehow. Oh, well.

  5. No worries, I've been wearing my 'dead battery' watch for months... It's purely jewelry. Little awkward when people at work ask me what time it is though.

  6. I usually go for bigger chunkier watches but I have to say in this case I love that dainty first one.

  7. watch #1 is super cute. My watch is never set correctly, also some of them even have dead batteries (embarrassing...eek)

  8. Numero tres. And there's no judging here. I can barely read a watch...

  9. I love those big bulky ones! I have a Fossil bulky white one that I love to wear on a daily basis but every once in a while I do like to wear my gold dainty feminine one!

  10. I don't replace the batteries once they die because I too only wear them as an accessory!

  12. Um, I wear my mom's old faux-lex from the 80s all the time (ha) and the battery died about two years ago.. Aesthetics are everything.
