| layers of sawdust and wood chippings and other natural stuff. Despite looking like a cake, it is not edible. |
Weekend highlights:
1. Going to the Glasgow Art Museum and seeing a giant perfectly formed pile of sawdust. Which simultaneously made me want to touch it and jump into it, both of which would have NOT gone over well..
2. Eating my weight in ice cream with Stephens little bro
3. Finally being able to wear my bright coraly/orange glittery flats that I purchased from Aspiring Kennedy LAST fall, days before the weather turned to winter..little did i know winter would last a year..jokes on me.
4. going to the art store and mentally clocking some lovely indian beads for future jewelry making purposes

What a great weekend!! I want to see more pics of your hair down :-)
ReplyDeleteYour treat for the weekend was ice cream....mine was sucre macaroons. :-) it was my first time and it was oh so worth the wait....that came out wrong hah
Haha! I was like, "It's a giant cake!!!!" Fooled me.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you make with your new beads!
mmm. cake.
ReplyDeletecause you know, that's what I took from this post..
I love these. How do you get your Instagram photos onto a blog?! I want to do this so bad!
ReplyDeleteI might have jumped in the sawdust, too. I played a bit in the pile at the sawmill in Amsterdam... and kept saying how they could have the happiest hamsters ever. I thought of you while we were there, too- at the Saturday market that was on our street there were a few booths of beads/jewelry makings. Clearly, you need to go visit Liz... and deduct it as a business expense!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely weekend AND that did look like a cake to me and made me all hungry for cake even though it is a weird place to put a giant cake! Also, loved your guest post on the UK....your pictures make it look like one of the most beautiful places on earth and way to look at the bright side and enjoy all the things you love about where you live now! Leaving for LA soon, hey?!?! Whoop!
ReplyDeleteThat does look like a cake and although I know it's not one, my mouth is still watering ;)
ReplyDeletemegssy! i love your hair! and you look gorgeous in mint! i misss youuuuu! x
ReplyDeleteThat really does look like a giant slice of cake. Looks like you had a fun weekend!
ReplyDeleteI thought your dreams had come true and you had found a giant cake that, from the picture, looks like it has red and blue layers... it's an American giant cake! I thought. My world just fell down.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great weekend to me! Love that scarf!
ReplyDeleteMay I ask where your pants (or trousers..heh) are from? I'm looking for some similar!
ReplyDelete@Michelle- Hi! Yes, they are from H&M..only 10 pounds! They are in stores now..they are the skinny jeans, low, regular (not the super low)
ReplyDeleteyour flats are adorable....you also have amazing cheek bones.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Day!

ah, looks like a lovely weekend! And I like all the photos! For some reason, pics through a phone's camera are almost as awesome as ones with a real camera.
ReplyDeleteAt last! They look great on you. :) you do me proud... As I hope to do with my new necklace someday. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your scarf...and especially now knowing it was made by an American living in Scotland. :)
ReplyDeleteThat sawdust really does look like a cake. Did you try to lick it?! I know you did. : )
ReplyDeletehahaha the first thing i thought of when looking at the sawdust picture was that it looked like a delicious layered cake and I wanted to eat it. And then I saw your comment. And then I realized you are excellent at reading minds. That's pretty cool how they did that though. I also thought the Indian Beads were candy...apparently not. Good to know that the ice cream is indeed ice cream though! And it looks delicious. Glad you had a lovely weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the flowing in the wind scarf picture. Moment captured!
ReplyDelete....and now I want cake.
phewy!
