So apparently the Scottish were not being dramatic by calling a zoo a wild animal safari and adventure park..
because it was like a safari..
where you drive in your car through wild animal reserves.
it was awesome.
But note the word adventure..
because we also got out of the car and fed some animals,
watched a sea lion show (i got so excited my eyes filled with tears..its okay..that's a normal reaction for me)
went on a peddle boat,
and another boat to gorilla island..
ate some ice cream,
saw some more wild animals,
and enjoyed the 70 degree weather..
SEVENTY DEGREE WEATHER.
The highlight of Stephens day?
When the giraffe came over and licked his hand.
sluts

giraffes are sluts. they think they're so great with those super long creepy tongues.
ReplyDeletealso 70 degree weather is money. we dropped back to the 30s today. i could cry.
I love giraffes - when we went to Woburn Safari there was a baby giraffe who was still like 8 foot tall and towering over us! And the monkeys sat on a car in front of us and we laughed lots as they slide down the windscreen and things like that.
ReplyDeleteHaha, Giraffes are adorable.
ReplyDeleteGorilla Island sounds amazing, such great weather for going too.
I love this little heat wave we're having.
xo
This looks and sounds like it was so much fun! All of a sudden I really want to go to a zoo. That little penguin is so cute!
ReplyDeletelooks like so much fun! I love how they are just walkin around :)

ReplyDeleteI would love to go to that zoo! You are lucky you are in London. If you ever need someone to come visit, that person is me! LOL! Have a great week!
ReplyDeletefor a second I thought you might have pictures of elephants and I got really excited. But the giraffe will do. Even a slutty giraffe.
ReplyDeletewell clearly, giraffes are sluts with all the long necks and the strutting about. I love going to the zoo even though I am pretty much afraid of all animals but love them from a distance haha my favourites are penguins and elephants hahaha.
ReplyDeleteps. love the new necklaces and it looks so good on your white shirt :)
xx
@debbie- i do have pics of elephants..and rhinos..etc etc...but figured everyone knows what these animals look like and didnt want to picture overload on it..maybe i should have?
ReplyDelete@crystal- I am actually in scotland! :)
You need to do a real safari in Africa - it will literally BLOW your mind. I will never look at another zoo or animal park the same (maybe that's not a good thing?)
ReplyDeleteFUN. that necklace is loverly too.
ReplyDeletedoing your thang. love it.
cheers.
ahh the giraffes tongue is a little scary!
ReplyDeletegiraffe tongues kind of freak me out, lol. Looks like you two had a blast!
ReplyDeleteUm, this sounds much more adventurous than the San Diego Wild Animal Park! I WANT TO GO!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteAnd slutty or not, that giraffe tongue is a super duper creepster.
Giraffes' tongues freak me out majorly--why are they that colour?
ReplyDeleteAnd I am loving the warm weather--this will be our summer right here :)
Love your pictures! Looks like a fun time :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures...looks like a really fun place! Can't wait till it warms up around here more so I can take my 2 yr old daughter to the zoo, probably not as cool as the Wild Animal Safari Park but it will do!!! I love the zoo, always a fun time!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I dont like going to zoo's...they bore me and I leave feeling sorry for the animals. I probably need to go to a Wild Animal Safari and Adventure Park!
ReplyDelete1. you're beautiful. I say it everytime, but probz it's cuz it's true every time.
ReplyDelete2. true story- i am afraid of peacocks just running around like that, and greg and I visited a sculpture park that just randomly had them, and i couldn't turn my back ever... i was just spinning around in circles because i was so nervous when i turned around it would bite me or something...
k now that i've divulged how crazy i am...
A SEAL SHOW?!?! Sign me up. That Giraffe is sick nasty.
ReplyDeleteHow the heck are you so chic even at a wild animal safari and adventure park? It's like chic just goes even where poop and hand lickers are.
ReplyDeleteUmmm that sounds amazing. Hooray for animals!
ReplyDeleteMan, that elephant looks so sad. Its probably wishing it could be somewhere warmer.
ReplyDeleteThis looks fun, minus the gorilla part. Darn things, just can't stand them.
Did you ever make it to the Santa Barbara zoo where they had a giraffe w/a broken neck? Your hand lickin' giraffe made me think of it.

I giggled when I read your eyes filled with tears.... ahaha, that makes me love your so much more. I would just laugh at you if I was with you because I would think it was so cute..... okay, I am picturing that kristen bell/sloth video and thinking that is you. If you haven't seen it, you should google it !

The first thing that came to my mind is, "I wonder if Scottish animals speak with an accent"...
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun times, def would require "field-trip" cans of Sofia Coppola for me though...

Telk stephen that hand licking is a customary greeting in america so he's not confused when I do it.
ReplyDeletei dont know why I dont ever think of the Scottish lands having something like that!? Amazing. One more reason I want to come visit you.

Love the animal pictures! I worked at Zoo Atlanta in high school, and I miss my animals! Also- Kopparburg Mixed Fruit- my favorite! If you ever get to Oban there's a Sea Lion Rescue there- they even get orphans to raise and release! I hope you're still enjoying the weather, it's AMAZING down here!

ReplyDeleteHi Dude,
ReplyDeleteThe theme of your blog is very beautiful and the article is written very well, I will continue to focus on your article. Keep it up always!
I think I want to go to this safari place when I get there. It looks like so much fun and the sun. I will be having withdrawls from it too. Texas is like California, there is sun all the time. London made me look like a ghost and Edinburgh will do the same I am supposing!!! <-----I don't know why I put those. I like my tan skin lol. I hope the weather has improved over there.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to enter The Shabby Apple giveaway on my blog for a chance to enter a dress!
