Weekend-Prelude

This weekend Liz and I (along with our men) met up in Edinburgh.
And let me tell you,
it was by far one of the best weekends i've had in the UK.
Maybe its because it was the first weekend where I wasnt the minority..
(Stephen was like AH American expats!)
or because we all just got along so well..
either way..
it was epic.
And I think showed stephen that not all americans are crazy town..
or that they are but he actually likes it..

Liz and I had been planning a meet up before she even touched down in Amsterdam,
over 7 months ago.
No pressure.

We embraced,
drank some whiskey,
ate some good food,
and hiked Arthurs seat
(which is getting its own post for multiple reasons)
basically we fell in love.

here is just a little glimpse of what you have to look forward to.

hiking faces of concern...ok..i was concerned..corey was like, pull your ish together megan.

DIY ear protective scarf head wrap tutorial coming soon..Note: hair in scarf knot optional.

it was kinda windy

necklace: made by me   top&blazer: Zara  sunglasses: topshop   Sunshine: c/o God
To be continued.

  19. I swear I love all of your pictures, like all the time.

Is it appropriate to register for a new camera on your wedding registry? I'm thinking so...

Have to admit a case full of delicious whiskey's as a background you just can't go wrong with!

Glad you had a great week/end.

Haha I've been looking forward to this meet-up since Liz posted on her blog that she was going to Edinburgh to meet you and Stephen. I was like, 'wait, Megan Megan?!' and sure enough it was you. I love when my favorite bloggers meet, obviously. It looks like you guys had a fun time and I can't wait to see more!

  25. Ahaha the windy picture. I've been up there and it is MUCH harder to climb than people say. I asked some Brits if it was hard to get up and they shrugged it off. I jog all the time, and I was DYING. Of course I look like a sweaty mess in all of the pictures. Can't wait to read more about your adventures in Edinburgh!
