My friend Ahnika recently gave birth to my god daughter,
Svea.
(pronounced: Svay-uh)
Ok..she is not actually my god daughter..
like we havnt drafted up the paper work yet or anything..
But ive been searching for the perfect after birth gift
(when we all found out the gender)
I had been searching for weeks..
and coming up with nothing..
Clearly i dont have children..
Then the other night through our weekly breastfeeding skype date,
(where she breastfeeds and i watch)
(where she breastfeeds and i watch)
Ahnika told me about Zara Kids..
then posted a blog about her top picks.
and I was like YES.
Because lets be honest,
75% of my wardrobe is from Zara..
so naturally im going to want Svea to be dressed like me..
duh.
Then I was looking through the site..
and boom.
baby fever.
darn you cute childrens clothes.
So the moment you all have been waiting for..
my future daughters wardrobe.

Would it be weird to use the term "hot baby"? As in "Dammit, that baby is hotter than me in them clothes and I do NOT appreciate it."
ReplyDeletethose blue pants KILL ME!! and the gladiator sandals! have a baby now!!!
ReplyDeleteif you and stephen have babies, will he/she come out with an irish accent?! ive always wondered how that works...legit
xoxoxo
HAHAHA!!! You are too funny! Love those clothes! You're gonna make your "god daughter" as stunning as you. :-D
ReplyDeletebut...what if you only have boys? sorry, devils advocate. however, im sure that by the time we want to have kids we can just pick and choose that kind of ish.
ReplyDeleteyour future daughter is going to be the hottest kid on the block.
ReplyDeleteThose little sandals are killing me. There's something about baby shoes that just make you smile! I'm pretty sure I'll have all boys...just a fun little joke God will play on me because of all the time I've said "when I have a daughter..." ;)
ReplyDeleteYou are not helping my baby fever at all...
ReplyDeleteSO cute! But I'm trying to avoid looking at all the cutesy stuff, my baby fever has been to high lately...
ReplyDeletei love all of your picks!
ReplyDeletemy best friend just had a baby too and I have really enjoy shopping for baby brantley....
So cute!! I love going into Baby Gap and H&M and seeing all the cute baby stuff :)

I have that skirt in adults size--that means that I can dress my kid to match me--my kid is going to love me!
ReplyDeletei want everything. in adult sizes.
ReplyDeletenot only am i jealous of you because 75% of your clothes are Zara, but I am extremely envious of your future daughters perfect little zara wardrobe. i have yet to find anything from zara that fits me right. someday!!! im thinking my first purchase will be some shoes.
ReplyDeleteall these clothes are literally items i've seen you wear.
ReplyDeletelook at me getting free advertising. my blog is going to explode.
So cute!! Sometimes I wish they made some of these kids clothes in adult sizes. But then I would be walking around in an identical outfit of a toddler. That might be awkward. Show up in one of those who wore it best articles. And I think I know who would win.
ReplyDeletewell great. now I want a baby. right now.
ReplyDeletethese are so lovely!
ReplyDeleteahhh i love it all!!!!
ReplyDeleteI swear baby shoes make my uterus hurt with longing for a child.
ReplyDeleteHey, my friend is having her fourth (don't judge) and i'm already going shopping for new baby clothes. i'm that insane. i love zara kids...and i have to say i'm kinda boring but i love gap kids too. LOL ;)

oh, megan. this is hilarious and precious. i want that blazer, too.
ReplyDeletehm. Why am I not following her blog? I remember liking it the first time I read it a year ago and somehow... I am not following it...?
ReplyDeleteI'm not blaming you or anything. But I think your blog may have distracted me from clicking follow.
It's okay.
Once again.
I forgive you.
Someone has to hold this relationship together.
all jokes aside your little girl would be so darn beautiful! She could wear sackcloths and grass skirts and look amazing.
You must hurry and...
Move back to America.
Get to baby makin?
I need sleep.

this is why I love pinterest! I have lots of things picked out for my future child!
ReplyDeletemy future daughter (and no I'm not pregnant either) will be borrowing your future daughters clothes. Or, if you could time it, your daughter can be two years older than my daughter and you can just hand these all down. I sure hope mint is in style in 2019
ReplyDeleteCUTE! I have a friend that is expecting, I'll have to direct her towards Zara kids. Great post!
