| dont be fooled by that sun burst..sun in winter=colder not warmer. |
We went to go see The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo this weekend
it was brilliant..obviously..
well done USA in keeping it just as amazing as the swedish version..
and Rooney Mara?
Incredible.
Getting your nip pierced for a film definitely should score you an Oscar..
but that's just my opinion.
Stephen came out of the bathroom while we were waiting to go into the film..
he was all,
"that bathroom is so strange, there are tiny mirrors in the tile around the ur-anal and it's......"
I obviously stopped listening after the pronunciation of urinal.
I mean, its one thing to already have to refer to the restroom as toilet to avoid getting weird looks.
but ur-anal.
too far.

Ha! Thanks for making me laugh before 5 am. Ugh. Trade lives?
ReplyDeletebahhhh whhhat?! oy! i hope you set that boy straight.
ReplyDeleteUR ANAL! HILARIOUS!
ReplyDeleteHa! This is why I miss you. You always make me smile :)
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHA.
ReplyDeleteThat's Awesome

LOL! xD
ReplyDeleteIt's Rooney Mara though, right? - can't wait to see that film.
I wasn't that bothered about seeing that film but maybe I will now--Stephen if funny, fact!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am loving your coat and sunglasses--tres chic
hahaha I need to start requesting stories about weird pronunciations and toilets from my friend in Holland. They are just better.
ReplyDeleteAgreed on the nip pierced=oscar. For sure
CarissaExplainsItAll
hahahahhahahahaha you kill me with your posts.
ReplyDeletechristine- you are correct. thats why i shouldnt write my posts when i first wake up in the morning and havnt eaten yet. #fail
ReplyDeletehahahah ur-anal.....
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! How you always manage to crack me up with one sentence is beyond me. Thanks for the laugh, lovely lady.
ReplyDeleteI was in London Town last weekend, the sun was a tease because, you're right, wasn't the least bit warm! However, I'll take the sun of the drizzle rain any day!
ReplyDeleteI literally laugh out loud when I read your posts. So funny. I love the language differences.
ReplyDeleteAnd I totally agree about the nip piercing. When I saw that I was like "whoa. THAT is dedication."
Don't you hate saying toilet?! I always feel either like I'm two years old or just being really crass when I say it. And it's misleading because maybe all I want to do is wash my hands!
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit.
ReplyDeletehaha Poor Stephen.
ReplyDeleteWas the movie too graphic? I keep hearing it's brilliant, but I don't do well with "stronger" scenes... :(
I hated saying toilet. And I had to really work hard at not laughing whenever I heard someone say, "She's in the toilet." It came with a good mental image.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA tell stephen boy that he has officially started a trend... I shall refer to it as a ur-anal from now on.
ReplyDeleteHaha, poor thing!
ReplyDeleteI loved the movie, obviously I agree with you about Rooney Mara. I haven't seen the Swedish version of the film yet but really cannot wait to check it out.
She seriously did that for the roll? Yowzers, not sure I could muster up that strength. would've sucked if the film tanked and she did it for nothing!

Okay first off. You are tiny. Second, I'm glad to hear it's just as good as the Swedish version because I loved the Swedish version.
ReplyDeleteI love that you (and we) have forever entertainment in Stephen! "Ur-anal," really????
ReplyDeleteps. Love your sunnies.
I loved the book and can't wait to see the movie!
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to see Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, but am a little afraid that it's going to be super creepy after reading the book. What was your take?
ReplyDeleteToilets, ur-anal - I'm with you lady.
xxx
Jenna
I definitely got some weird looks asking for the restroom in London a few times...but I just couldn't bring myself to say toilets. It seemed so vulgar! haha!
ReplyDeleteNot sure what's more awkward, the tiny mirrors by the ur-anal or the fact that he said ur-anal.
ReplyDeleteI loved that movie!! So good! I really hope they make the series.
ReplyDeleteTiny mirrors... ur-anal... awkward.
I was also impressed by the nip piercing. But it made my girls hurt just to look at it.
ReplyDeleteoh wow. Ur-anal. That's not good. Not good at all.
ReplyDeletep.s. is it weird that I've been staying away from that movie because that girl's character looks so darn weird? Ewww. She kind of grosses me out.
Rooney Mara was pretty freakin' amazing. I love everything David Fincher does...so I felt great when I found out he'd be directing the film.
ReplyDelete'Round these parts, they love calling the bathroom "the loo".
ha!
ReplyDeletey'all so crazy.
♥CheChe
I love your coat!
ReplyDeleteyou are so gorgeous!
ReplyDeletegood god you are cool.
ReplyDeletedid you read the book? the book is good...have yet to see the new movie.
Ahahah I am laughing so hard at ur-anal! That is so funny!
ReplyDeleteHere in NZ we sometimes refer to a "restroom" as "toilet", but it is more polite to say "bathroom", even if there isn't actually a bath there. I don't think I've ever here anybody say restroom. :)
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing that movie. The swedish version was okay, but I loooved the books and couldn't put them away!
ReplyDeleteevery time I read your posts I imagine I'm living your life....& then I cry...bc I'm not.
ReplyDelete;-p
You look chic, lady!
I really want to see I but I haven't been able to find the time yet! She does look fantastic & I hope it does well.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your sunglasses. I used to have a similar pair and then I sat on them! Arghhh
God that is awesome. After an an over emotional day (for no reason), I needed this.
ReplyDeleteThat movie is sooo good! I was glad she got nominated!!
