I got a few comments on Fridays post, asking about my brother..
I don't know if it is because people are curious if something is wrong with him..
or because he just seems like such an interesting human being..
maybe both..
despite random and often times inappropriate comments..
and the inability to take a "normal" photo..
My little brother is just your average 22 year old boy/man who is gifted at everything he does,

got all the good genes (see: athletic, musically gifted, smart, extremely funny, good looking, popular in high school, wanted by all the pretty girls etc)
and if he wasn't so lazy i am sure he could of excelled in academics too.
He is the family favorite,
and claims to have molded his nose when he was little because he didn't want to end up with a big nose like me or my dad.
He likes to sing,
can play any instrument,
and likes long walks on the beach as long as it is warm outside and he doesn't get wet and sandy.
Even though we are 4 years apart
When we are introduced to new people together, 90% of the time they think we are twins.
And while i may have tried to kill him once or twice as an infant child,
he is my best friend.

ReplyDeleteMy brother and I are 4 years apart, AND often get confused for twins TOO. AND-wait for it- we spent a summer writing music together. I don't know if any of it could live up to BOOGIES, but the four of us could form a not-really-twins-but-we-look-like-them band.

ReplyDeleteAlso, I thought I'd share with you: when we brought my little brother home from the hospital, the first thing I tried to do was gouge his eyeballs out with my little fingers. My parents barely stopped me. So you aren't the only one who was unsure about having a sibling. It happens to the best of us.
