For those of you who are new(er) here..
and don't already know..
I am from Los Angeles, California..
born and raised.
holler.
(we say that there sometimes..)
(we say that there sometimes..)
I didn't leave LA until I was 21..
where I moved 1.5 hours (without traffic..)
south to Orange County
(I know, soo far..)
I lived in the oc for four years until I moved to England.
(I am now in Scotland btw..)
(I am now in Scotland btw..)
While some of my LA charm has slowly worn away and been replaced by
lack of road rage, lack of car in general..heavy coats, thermal socks, and the occasional seasonal depression..
I'm still that LA girl..
who "won't go west of vermont"
wants to go on puppy play dates,
and loves a good tan.
I know the Sh*t girls say videos are like, so yesterday..
and are being totally over done to the point where people are over it..
but i was sent this yesterday
and im sure my blog wont be the only one you see it on..
and most of you wont think its funny..
but if you want a glimpse into my old life..
here it is..
and hand to God..
i have said or have had friends say 99% of these things..
i'm not proud of it.
and since we are getting to know each other a bit better..
I figured i'd start a FAQ's page..
you know, as a reference point..
in addition to answering some of your burning questions in a post.
So let me have it..
ask me the things you want to know in the comment section..
comments that ask questions will not be visible so you can freely ask away.
Enjoy.
*ps
Your comments on yesterdays post made my life...and just showed exactly what i was talking about in the post. So thank you.

ReplyDeleteMegan, when we be back in LA you and I have some delicious double doubles and animal style fries to consume.
"I have good parking karma," that video made me laugh out loud.

ReplyDeleteBhahaha. I'm now embarrassed to be from California. Holleerrr. We need one for the Bay Area. Ps. Meet me in LA this fall...I'll be there :)
ReplyDeleteI totally used to do puppy play dates... but when I lived in Seattle. I can't imagine how people would react if I said that here. They'd probably think I was bat shit insane and never talk to me again.
ReplyDelete"That's why I only drink intelligentsia" HAHAHA... I laughed and then I realized I have said that too many times
ReplyDeleteOMG! same here :P it's so embarrassing but so true! why don't go to the beach? craving in n out all the time! parking is really a bitch... sorry about the language. & they forgot to mention yoga!
ReplyDeleteHaha! That video is sooooo true!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby is from LA too. I showed him that video last night, and even posted it on my blog today! He says that it is pretty accurate and has heard Elle say those things. He loved the In and Out reference. He also loved that apparently no one go to the beach, even though it's right there. Plus, he said that he keeps forgetting LA has a metro, and that he has never met anyone that has been on it lol
ReplyDeleteMade my day. I am not over these videos.. that's never going to happen. Too good.
ReplyDeleteI don't live in LA and I've never been there, but I love this video. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLiterally cracking up. And I must have missed the whole shit people say bandwagon, because i've just hopped on and I love it! And yes, everything is better animal style.

ReplyDeletexox the egg out west.
I lived in SoCal for several years... then moved to the East. And had to get used to the winter again... hence, the pale skin, bundled-up look, chipping pedicure, and wickedly fluffy socks under my boots. :)haha
ReplyDeleteI live in Santa Monica and it isn't India;) This video is so true. I have thought the majority of this sh*t before.
ReplyDeletehaha! I'm from L.A. too and I'm pretty sure I've said everything here...especially taking a photo of a parking ticket to dispute it. Love that you shared this :)
ReplyDeleteI don't have to ask you questions, I've realized. Because I already know you. And if I did have one, I'd just tweet it. So instead, why don't ya just give me an amazing shout out in this blog of yours. Mmkay?

ReplyDeleteplease make a vlog about you talking like an LA girl!
Hehe, I like the one about having hit a pedestrian before! :O
ReplyDeletehahahaha! I may be from Orange County, but I'm pretty sure I've said about 90% of that over the past week alone. But maybe that was because we went to Westwood last weekend...
ReplyDeleteoh wait, I left my comment and say the "your comment has been saved and will be visible after blog owner approval." ok, that makes sense. Since when did you start monitering that??
