| not a milkshake |
I thought I was ordering a milk shake..
you know, like in America..
with ice cream..
except it ended up being milk..
shaken..
with some chocolate powder..
this is not the first time I have made this ordering error..
fool me once..
shame on you..
fool me twice..
shame on the UK.
I NEVER win giveaways..
seriously.
But I went to her blog and I was like, oh I need that..
went to the shop and I was all, those are reasonably priced, i can just buy one..
so I emailed the designer and I was like you have what i need.
Then I entered the giveaway just for kicks..
and I actually won.
power of positive thinking..
Speaking of positive thinking..
6 weeks after my mom donated her kidney to my aunt..
she had to go back into surgery to have her appendix removed.
She was pretty devastated because she had just recovered from the transplant..
but she maintained her positive spirit..
and she is recovering well.
She is the bravest, strongest woman I know.

I was fooled in the UK by Pancakes. They are not American pancakes that are fluffy and eaten with syrup... they are flat and more like crepes. Disappointment.
ReplyDeleteyour mama is amazing.
ReplyDeleteand i love the headband, might have to go snag myself one. esp since it just dropped to 40 degrees today and my ears are fareezing.

Oh your poor sweet momma. I had my appendix removed last November and it is NOT fun. The worst pain I have EVER felt. I can only imagine how annoying it'd be to need it removed right after recovering from a different surgery. I hope she is all better very soon!
