I kinda love my friend Megan..
and not just because we share the same name..
(which btw was the second most popular name the year i was born in '85..way to be original, mom)
but because Megans are awesome people.
It's just science.
Megan and I have been following each other since the beginning of time..
aka since I started blogging..
which means I'll be offended if you don't visit her.

My name is Megan, and I'm a 23 year old graduate student/barista born in California but raised in Virginia.
I'm currently working on my master's thesis to complete a degree in Children's Literature.
I spent the last year of my life selling used cars in Roanoke, Virginia (that is the truth)
and just recently moved two hours north-east to Charlottesville with my boyfriend to hang out,
write and sling coffee for a year while he gets his graduate degree from the University of Virginia.
I love to cook, eat, run, write and laugh a lot.
Sometimes I pretend to be a photographer.
My blog, Freckled Italian,
is where I write about what it's like to be a cooking, eating, running, writing, photo-taking grad student with dreams of a literary life, a lot of student loans and a random year of experience in the auto industry.
I think I'm pretty fun.
