Its how I roll

Today I kept it American by driving
(okay the bf drove)
to a large shopping mall,
sat in traffic,
and then went to a McDonalds drive-through and proceeded to eat my cheesburger, fries, and chocolate shake in the car in the parking lot.
I wanted to the drive to the other side of the parking lot to the grocery store..
but Stephen drew the line and made me get out and walk.

I did my best.

  2. Meh, if you've already eaten your fries, burger and shake in the car, why would you get out and WALK to the grocery store??? :)

I sometimes feel like I'm living in a foreign country, as I don't have a car and can't easily get to a shopping mall. But then I remember that I come from the land of the Mall of America, my secret shame...

    Way to keep it American!

  11. This CA girl is being denied those gorgeous colors of fall. ho hum!

    Talking about walking vs driving...

I live .25 miles from the high school track where I workout and I won't walk it. I drive to the track. A bit of an oxymoron, driving to workout but I will justify it to the day I die...which could be sooner than later since I drive... Whatev

  12. Um. I just pre-ordered my Chipotle dinner so I wouldn't have to wait in line and then drove my car to an empty parking lot a block away so I could stuff myself without people staring at me.

    Is that bad?

  14. Love it...you couldn't have made a more authentic homage to all things American any better than that....well maybe if you were wearing a Disney sweatshirt and a fanny pack...JUST KIDDING! (well.....kinda sad but true as evidenced by my last trip to Florida..oh dear is all I can say)

A drive through is one heck of an awesome invention, I think this especially when I am on occasion still in my pjs going through the drivethrough at Starbucks!

  15. i forgot to tell you. on friday grant made me sit in traffic for 45 mins to go to a highly rated liquor store and i was super hungry so i asked him to please stop at mcdonalds for me (my options were limited). he said he wouldn't and made me eat taco bell instead. it was gross. but you would have liked it.

  24. your pimple poem was so disgusting and hilarious and true... That is really how it works...
hahaha reading it made me feel like I had just popped a zit. it was weird. haha

And Yeah, I agree with the boyfriend. There has to be a line drawn girl... There just has to be.

the next thing you know your being pushed in a wheelchair from the car to the store and back...

    wait...
you've done that before haven't you?? haha

But seriously, sometimes it is fun to just roll around the store. People are nicer too.
