Happy Friday

top: H&M; sunglasses: TopShop

i prefer to grip my wineglass like a football. its classy.

guys, big news...

its been warm outside.

The UK and some other parts of Europe
(i clearly get my info via facebook and blogs)
seem to be experiencing an Indian summer.
aka its warm instead of punch you in the face freezing.

I actually had to go into H&M and buy a different shirt so i could change out of my sweater
because i was actually sweating.
I know, poor me, having to buy something new to wear because its warm.

hard life I tell you.
hard life.

I'm trying to soak up as much of it as I can
by drinking cold glasses of wine outside and wearing sunglasses
because the predicted weather for next month (Nov)?

snow.

and once winter begins.
it.never.ever.ends.

dramatic.

  1. I had to dig my summer stuff out again - this week I wore trousers for Monday to Wednesday then decided it was too warm and wore 3/4 lengths yesterday and today. I wanted it to be cold enough for me to wear my dress and tights again :(

Then again can't wait for the snow but unless we have like 3 feet of the stuff I won't get out of not going to work :(

  2. I know! It's warm! I am rejoicing! I wore a skirt and flats yesterday, and walking home from work at 9 PM I wasn't chilly at all.

It's a miracle. I heard it'll be warm all throughout october in Germany...the same for the UK?

  6. I hear you- fall weather totally f's with my temperature emotions! I live in Maine- the first week of September it was 55 during the day and 40 at night. Last week? 80 degrees. Nothing worse than sweating in a sweater- even though sweat is IN the word. Wow, I need more coffee.

  14. Once, when I was living in London, it was 50 degrees in JUNE. For like a week.

Soak it up, enjoy it! (and feel free to send some snow this way if you don't want it!)

  19. So, since you're staying there now, are you planning on buying a new straightener? I know you were waiting to get one back home, but now..you're not coming home.

Your long hair made me think of it...I even said in my head, wow your hair is long! (even though I did know this already) And for the record, I said it quietly in my head, as apposed to a shocked shout, cause my head hurts, so its in whisper mode...

  26. Don't quit the drama. I come here for that purpose explicitly. ;-) The only non-U.S. place I've ever been was to Mexico for our honeymoon, but I'm dying to venture 'cross the pond. Your photos take me on a cyber vacation and I'm thankful. :-)
