CHANGE it up

You will be reading this post while I am above your heads.

I am watching you.....

I am on a plane heading back to England after spending three weeks in California.
aka eating food.

I will not be returning to the US of A until December.
Don't cry.
We will still talk.
I promise.
But you wont get photos of In-N-Out or Taco Bell for awhile..
:::gasp:::

:::stroke:::

^that is me gently stroking your back as you sob.

But lets turn that frown right side round and help some folks..
whatya say??

Ashley from The Shine Project is starting an UH-mazing organization to help inner city high school kids be able to go to College.

Having previously worked with foster youth as well as in a homeless house,
I know how much organizations like Ashley's are needed.

Change for Change is launching TODAY
right this second.

here is the deal:
People all over the country will have change jars to put their leftover money in for three months,
and then cash it in to the scholarship fund.

And we all know people,
especially in the states (America)
don't use change.

So let's team up.
and make a difference.

visit Ashley for more information on how you can help.

  6. I think that is a seriously important cause, especially since I read that the government might be taking away government funded grants for students wanting to go to college. It kind of makes me wonder when they're going to start limiting student loans if they haven't done that already. I hope that the economy gets better and that it becomes easier for students to afford college. It's a stretch of a wish, but I am always hopeful. :)

  8. I just found your blog through The Nelson Diaries, and I just need to profess my undying love for you and your love of Taco Bell/potato chips/ice cream. You are a girl after my own heart, and I am so glad I found this little slice of the interwebs. The end.
