if classy means I frequently wear pajamas
and Career means I sleep...
I joke.

If you are new here and want to learn a little bit more about me
and my research/life abroad
go check out this post.
I did leave something out of my guest post though..
when leaving your life to live far away..

i want that dog to be with you at the airport when you pick me up.
ReplyDeletefind a way to make it happen.

C.
I would have begged and pleaded to bring my Astro. And, might I dare say, I probably would've stomped my feet and threw a tantrum until I got my way. That dog is my life (not exaggeration there!).
ReplyDeleteI miss Bear too.
That's all.
That is so sweet. I don't know what I'll do without all my pets next year when I go to school!
ReplyDeleteAwww...he's too cute. I don't know what I would do if I had to leave my kittens.
ReplyDeleteYou know how I feel about this.
ReplyDeleteDo a post where you blog about the lock of your brothers hair you took with you!
ReplyDeleteYou are a classy-career-rockstar!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I will try and sell Portland better in my blogs. Gotta amp up my marketing skills. The weather needs to amp up the sunshine! Then we're good to go.
Sincerely,
Your little bundle of blog love, Bon Bon
aww I can't wait for you to see him again and going to check it out now!
ReplyDeleteAw, it's gotta be hard to be away from your pet!
ReplyDeleteAw, it's gotta be hard to be away from your pet!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for guest posting! Great job! :)
ReplyDeletei'm glad we not only talked about this last night, but you blogged about it today. sounds good.
ReplyDeleteps we never skyped. fail fail fail.
It is so hard to leave a pet behind!! I love the fur idea. My goldendoodle has LOTS of excess fur as did my golden retriever. Even though my golden died two years ago, I still carry around her name tag from her collar on my key ring along with my car keys <3
ReplyDeletenot sure about this lock of pet hair business, but i still like you. never fear.
ReplyDeletegoing to read your guest post now!
UH! Thank the Lord you washed that thermal. How'd you know that's what I was thinking when I looked at that picture...not the fact that I thought you dyed your the ends of your hair bleach blonde or how odd and um, unique it was to cut dog hair and travel with it.
ReplyDeleteGuess it's sorta like a rabbit's foot..sorta.
hahaha. A lock of fur!! That, my friend, is quite hilarious. I can't believe you couldn't bring your doggie. HOW rude.
ReplyDeleteI checked out your post on the other site and I really enjoyed it. I'm glad that you are really enjoying being immersed in the culture and world of where your staying abroad. My dream is to stay in Spain. I just love love love Spain and I speak a bit of ESPANOL as well.
Oh and about the cheese sandwich. I can eat cheese I just didn't have any of the ingredients on me to make that sandwich which is why I said I could not have it. haha.

gracie started humping her bed upon seeing this post.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet, Meg! We have a lock of Shasta's puppy hair. I miss her already. The day that Shasta and Bear have a doggy blate will be the best day ever.
ReplyDeleteloveee yaaaa (:
You had to leave him behind? :(
ReplyDeleteThat is so sad. I left my cat at my parents, but I kind of knew I always would because he lived there for 12 years already. It still makes me miss him though.
heehee He must have been a sweet pup for sure :) And i'm going to check out your guest post right now!
ReplyDeletedon't know if i could leave my dog! but ya do whatcha gotta do, huh? cute photos!
ReplyDeleteThree words: out. Of. Control.

Well, I can't judge you for this, because I would do it too. In fact I get weepy just thinking about having to leave him. SO, yeah... no judgement.
ReplyDeleteBest guest blogger post ever!
ReplyDeleteNow I want to study abroad.
Awww I left my yellow lab at home and I miss her sooo much!

ReplyDeleteAwe. I want to hug & kiss your dog. Is that awkward?!
ReplyDelete<3 leigh
love your blog!
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious. In a dog-lover to dog-lover kind of way. Ollie just got a bath and there is SO MUCH FUR coming off him now. And I read your guest post and am seriously jealous you know how to work the MRI.
ReplyDeleteI just love people who love their pets! Pet lover and proud of it. :) You need a bumper sticker.
ReplyDeleteAwe! Let's meet up. You can walk your pet and I can walk mine. Mine's a siamese cat. Who weighs 12 pounds. Is that cool?
ReplyDeletegracie plus bear. LOVE.
ReplyDeleteI'm even more obsessed with you after knowing you clipped bears hair.
Sweet? yes. Slightly strange? maybe a little. Totally endearing? definitely.
ReplyDeleteI would expect nothing less of you, though, you kind-hearted and beautiful Bear-lover, you. xo
This is awesome. I must confess: I did immediately notice the thermal. Then the lock of hair. Haha.
ReplyDeleteAww, this makes me want to snuggle my puppies even closer, I cannot imagine living away from them for that long! I was worried about the thermal, so thanks for qualifying that;-)
ReplyDeleteHey Megan...thank you for the lovely comment...I used to live in Sunny South Africa but I married and Englishman...so now its grey skies and green fields xxx
ReplyDeleteAlright, you've convinced me. I'm moving out of the US. I have to now. after reading your blog for over a month now and after that guest post you did, I have no choice but to pack up my things and head off.
ReplyDeletealso, I decided that I'm way jealous of your life and you are so pretty.
haha Thanks for sharing!
I already have to leave the puppy with my parents since we are going to Chicago this weekend and I AM SAD about it. I can't even imagine how much you miss you BIG baby!
ReplyDeleteAww, super sweet pix of you and your pup!
ReplyDelete1.your blog is one of my favorites to read

Really great guest post Megan!
ReplyDeleteThe pic of you and Bear, so cute! :)
i love that i got to see this in person. and by "in person", clearly i mean on skype. teleportation is not yet possible. but i pray daily that they will make it so.
ReplyDeleteJust realized I had not commented on this. That's weird. My not commenting that is, not your post. Your post is great. Really. My girl crush totally continues on...
ReplyDeletehaha totally a requirement when living away from home. im lucky though coz Russell malts so fricken easily that his fur gets everwhere, so i have a bunch of it here in nottingham too!
ReplyDeleteloved the guest post! x
Oh lovely. You see, I have the reverse, my sister just HAD to bring along the cat. I would be happy to shave it, quite honestly.
ReplyDeleteI have two Boxer's. Dogs are such happy creatures!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your guest post! I loved every. single. point. Makes me want to pack up right now and move to Europe for a bit.
ReplyDeleteAaw he looks adorable (: and I definitely miss my puppies back "home" now that I have my own "home" (do the quotes even make sense? If not, I'm sorry)
ReplyDeleteAh! I wish I did this! I am living abroad in Australia and I miss my dog love child EVERY DAY. Maybe next time I go home I'll come back with some...
